Church Bookings
The Parish Church of St John Baptist is a splendid venue for concerts, recitals, Carol Services, Civic events and so on.
Charges for the hire of the church depend on the scale of the event, size and how much of the church is to be used. Consideration is also given to such extras as staging(rostra) and use of the organ.
The Verger's fee is also included in the overall charge.
Holy Trinity Church makes an ideal environment for a more intimate wedding, recital or musical event.
As with the Parish Church, hire fees depend on the scale of the event, its charitable status and other factors.

Since St Lawrence Church is a dual-purpose building, it is possible to hire the Church through the normal hall hiring channels.
To arrange an event please contact Howard at the Parish Office and a booking form will be sent to you either by post or by email. Once this is returned, an Event Verger is assigned to your event. This person will liaise with you about positioning of chairs and staging and the times for opening and closing the church for rehearsals and performances.
Please note that rehearsals must stop for the daily 12 noon eucharist and for the 5pm Evening Prayer services.
At the Parish Church it is best to avoid the first Tuesday evening in the month (Bell Ringing practice) and Thursday evenings (Choir practice)
