Pilgrimage to Now/here
Leader: Janet Williams
The Pilgrimage to Now/here draws upon the early Celtic tradition of pilgrimage as setting out simply for the love of God, celebrating the natural world, and focusing attention on being present to the now. A walk of silent awareness will begin with coffee and introductory theme, usually include a time of contemplation at a church or chapel on the way, and end with a picnic-style lunch and group reflection. Reflective materials will assume a spiritual interest, but will be accessible to participants from all faiths and denominations. Donations (up to £10) are invited – see below.

Still Waters and Pilgrimage to Now/here are both practices of Contemplative Fire, a Fresh Expression of Church ‘creating communities of Christ at the edge’. Donations are invited from regular attendees towards CF expenses.
